The Saut Hermès returns to Paris on 18th, 19th and 20th March 2022. This twelfth edition takes place for the first time at the Grand Palais Éphémère, retaining all its authenticity in a joyful, sporting atmosphere.
This year, the Saut Hermès is taking place at the Grand Palais Éphémère, a future site for the 2024 Paris Olympics designed by architect Jean-Michel Wilmotte, due to renovation work being carried out at the Grand Palais.
Inside the structure, visitors can wander around the stands and terraces, cheer on the competitors and watch the new equestrian show conceived by the Alma Vaquera troupe and directed by Denis Marquès. Outside, the stables adjoin a new paddock where riders and their mounts can rest and relax. On the other side of the central aisle is a manège for equestrian activities and other events, open to all.
The last two editions witnessed the now legendary triumph of Frenchman Simon Delestre, one of the house’s partner riders, and his horse Hermès Ryan, winners of the Grand Prix Hermès in 2018 and 2019. Among the 70 international riders invited to take part in the Saut Hermès each year, Swiss horseman Steve Guerdat, ranked in the world’s top ten, will compete in this CSI 5* for the first time as an Hermès partner rider.
This year, the Saut Hermès returns to the heart of the French capital to delight riders and non-riders of all ages once again. Three years after the last edition, the Saut Hermès has cleared every obstacle, while remaining true to its past, embracing the city, and reinventing itself.
