Hermès présente la selle Hermès Cavale en France à l’occasion du Saut Hermès au Grand Palais

Hermès premieres The Hermès Cavale saddle at the Winter Equestrian Festival in Florida.

In 2013, Hermès is launching its new Hermès Cavale saddle in Paris at the Saut Hermès competition, which will take place at the Grand Palais between April 12 and 14. In advance
of this, the saddle will be premiered at the WEF in Wellington, Florida, on February 24 at the
Hermès Derby.

The Hermès Cavale is a jumping saddle that combines Hermès’ saddlemaking knowledge
and technical expertise for riders competing at a high level. Featuring a wide gullet, widened
panels with injected stuffing, a seamless medium-deep seat, and padded flaps incorporated
into the top flaps, it provides optimal stability and comfort for both the rider and the horse.
Developed in collaboration with our partner rider Simon Delestre, the emphasis is on
achieving the perfect feel over fences.

Hermès has nurtured its links with high-level riders, from the American Bill Steinkraus in the
1970s to Margit Otto-Crépin, evolving in harmony with this sporting discipline. And now, new
partnerships with Pilar Cordon (Spain), Dan Nielson (UK), Astier Nicolas (France) and Nick
Dello Joio (USA) are bringing fresh impetus to this ongoing initiative.

In addition, since February 1, 2012, Christian Paillot, former Vice-President of the
Fédération Française d’Équitation (2006-2012), member of the Fédération Équestre
Internationale board and Chairman of Group I from 2009 to 2012, has started to apply his
extensive experience and expertise in this field to fully develop Hermès equestrian activity
throughout America.
