Hermès has organised the Saut Hermès at the Grand Palais since 2010, and is delighted to gather many of the world’s finest riders in the heart of Paris for this major event in the international equestrian calendar.

The Parisian house is pleased to assemble more than 75 riders from 20 different countries and over 130 horses at this future Olympic site. The 55 riders in this CSI 5* competition – the highest category classified by the French Equestrian Federation (FFE) and the International Equestrian Federation (FEI) – and the 20 young promising talents from around the world participating in the Talents Hermès events for the under-25s will compete on ten courses created by the Spanish course designer Santiago Varela Ullastres.

Faithful to their first customer, the horse, Hermès is proud to gather members of the extensive equestrian community at the Grand Palais Éphémère, decorated for the occasion in the event’s colours. Whether experienced riders or novices, professionals or amateurs, the event’s 13,200 visitors can look forward to an exciting weekend celebrating a high-level sport. They will also be invited to discover demonstrations of the house’s saddlery know-how, explore the equestrian bookshop, and enjoy some family time with activities focusing on the world of the horse. The experience continues on the Champ-de-Mars, where the younger audience will be offered the chance to ride a pony and try their hand at grooming free of charge throughout the weekend.
The Théâtre du Centaure company comes to the Saut Hermès arena for the first time to present an original equestrian show.

For the organisation of this international competition, Hermès is pleased to be resuming its long-standing partnerships with GL events and the Réunion des musées nationaux-Grand Palais and sharing with them once again the values of excellence and knowledge transmission that are so dear to the house.
